King Faisal Football Club have adopted new home venue for their Premier League matches after the sudden closure of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The National Sports Authority closed down the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for renovation works to begin ahead of the upcoming Independence Day celebration.
This has forced Asante Kotoko and King Faisal who were using the stadium as their home venue, to immediately choose new venue for their ongoing Premier League matches.
In an interview, the bankroller of King Faisal, Alhaji Karim Grusah has revealed that, his outfit are heading to Assin Foso to play their home matches at the Jumsco Park.
“Currently we want to choose Jumsco Park in Assin Foso as our home venue, because that’s our only option”, Alhaji Grusah told Angel FM in Kumasi.
When approved by the GFA, King Faisal will play Legon Cities FC in week eleven of the Ghana Premier League at Assin Foso.
King Faisal have gone ten matches in the league campaign without a win, languishing eighteenth on the league log with just four points.
