Ghana Detects new covid -19 case -Akuffo -Addo.

His excellency the president Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo has said that, Ghana has recorded new covid 19 cases. The president made this statement in the 22nd address to the nation on how to combat the covid-19 pandemic.

”we have seen an up surge in the number of active cases from a little over 900 to 1,924. our covid19treatment centers have gone from having zero patience to now being full because of the upsurge in infection. Particularly worrying is the fact that the Ghana Health service is recording on average of 200 new cases everyday.”

Nana Addo Dankwah furthered explained that, in the past 2 weeks, there was no patient in critical condition, but as at now, there are 33 persons in critical conditions in our various health facilities. Moreover, the death  rate have increase from 338to 352.

Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo then urged all Ghanaians to adhere to the protocols to prevent the spread of the virus.

The president hinted that, he is calling upon the inspector General of police and his team to hand in hand to enforce law for the compulsory wearing of nose mask in our commercial vehicles.
