Some schools to run shift -Mr Daniel Yeboah

Deputy Director of Monitoring and evaluation of the Municipal directorate of Ghana Education Service, Mr. Daniel Yeboah has said that, classroom that contains more than 40 students will run shift to strictly observe the social distancing. He explained that, the motive behind this is to ensure that, following president Akufo-Addo’s 21st address to the country on how to combat the virus which the president included the re-opening of schools.

The deputy Director Mr Yeboah said the Municipality had 72 kindergartens, 76 primary schools and 54 Junior High Schools in the Municipality and mentioned Osenase M.A Primary school, Anum L/A Primary school, Asamankese Primary C, Asamankese Zion primary, and Wesley J.H.S among other who might run shit due to large number of students in a classroom.

Mr Yeboah assured parents that nose masks had been provided to all the schools and all safety measures had been put in place and, therefore, should not panic but should educate their wards on the need of strictly adhering to the protocol in stopping the large spread of the virus.
He encouraged them to strictly adhere to all the safety protocols.
