LGBTQ- Government must close down offices or we hit the street -Sheikh Aremeyaw

Spokesperson of the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu has caution the government of Ghana to take immediate action by closing the office of the Lesbians, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender in Tesano, a surburb in Accra as report indicate.

However, the issue of this LGBTQ has get mases talking asking government to close down the office as its against our religion, tradition, law and norms to practice such act. Sheikh Aremeyaw  then added that Imams, Pastors, Bishops and others will hit the street.   “government must act now to close down all the offices; immediately otherwise, bishops, pastors, Imams, Sheikhs will come together to protest against this”.

He has also called for a review of the laws “to cover all other elements of the sexual orientations” since it keeps expanding.  Sheikh then asked Akufo-Addo  to come out with a clear position on the issue of LGBTQ.
