The traditional leaders and people of Plau Electoral Area in the Yilo Krobo municipality are gathered, welcoming the commissioning of a bore hole for the area.
Dr. Twum Kuranteng, the Eastern Regional 1st Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has fully funded a mechanized bore hole with polytank to reduce the water scarcity and burden on residents in Somanya.
Having shown similar kind guesture to the people in Klo Agogo and Klo Akuapem, this will mark a third bore hole Dr. Twum Kuranteng is donating in the municipality between February 2023 and now.
Scores of people including chies and queen mothers are gathered, in waiting to witness the commissioning and handing over ceremony
Meanwhile, party executives from the Yilo Krobo Constituency and other adjoining constituencies are also present to grace the occasion.
Political fan fair as usual, the canopies are decorated with the NPP red, blue and white colors
Expecting external invitees are the Works and Housing Minister, Hon Asenso Boakye and the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon Seth Kwame Achampong and the Eastern Regional Chairperson of the NPP.
Hon Simon Kweku Tetteh and HEric Tetteh of Lower Manya and Yilo Krobo Municipalities are equally present.
Notable chiefs present include, Asafoatse Nartey Doku II, Asafoatse Odjeyem I, Asafoatse Okra Baaso II and
Manye Nakuor Agblezee IV, a queen mother.
