Scores of residents in Upper Manya Krobo District and its environs have graced the two years existence of Trust 98.3FM with a Thanksgiving Service in the district capital, Asesewa yesterday, January 8, 2023.
Addressing the gathering, Rev. Divine Nartey, the Chairman of the Asesewa Local Council of Churches (ALCOC) admonished the public to support Trust FM to sustain the gains and public sensitization it has served the listeners.
Adding, Reverend Minister Nartey stressed that since the establishment of the station in the area, “the district has seen the light, and the name Asesewa has traveled far because the radio station put the district under a light.”
People from all walks of life from near and far gathered at the central chapel of the Church of Pentecost, Asesewa praising and worshiping the lord for successful two years.
While the Trust FM ministration team led the action with hot praises, other song ministers including Catechist Francis of the Presbyterian Church, Minister O.P. Ike, Minister Elizabeth Afi Dede and Minister Mawunger mesmerized the euphoria of the people.
The serial callers of the station also took their turn with worship songs, with exciting commendations to the owner and management of Trust FM for making their voices heard across Ghana.
Reverend B.L. Ametepy having led the prayer for the staff and the media house has asked God to grant the organization with wisdom and capacity to deliver on its mandate. He also prayed that businesses find Trust FM as a suitable medium for advertisement and publicity of products and services.
Some key attendee institutions were the Ghana Police Service, Upper Manya Klo Rural Bank Limited, the clergy and members of the Asesewa Local Council of Churches (ALCOC).
