A Farmer Based Organization (FBO) located at Mensah Dawa in Upper Manya Krobo has honored the host of Agriculture Program, Ngmohulihii Agbi (Farmers Voice), Citizen Ayertey for his tremendous contribution in Agribusiness in the area.
The group which is mainly made up of Queen Mothers who are also farmers with a common aim of developing women and children in their locality.
The Assembly member of the Mensah Dawa electoral area, Hon. Sampson Atter who doubles as the secretary for the group in a statement said, the group was grateful to Trust FM for adding Agriculture to their programs, adding that, the program has given farming and its related activities great exposure.
He noted that the radio education on Agriculture has augmented the face to face lessons they have with their respective Agriculture Extension Agents (AEA’s).

In appreciation, the Chairperson of the group, Manye Ayihimi said through Trust FM they are now known by many institutions and the exposure has subsequently become an eye opener for other communities.
She said, it is in this wake that some other communities in Upper Manya Krobo are calling on them to come help them form a replica group in their respective communities.
She thanked the Department of Agriculture and its officers for the education and tireless and selfless sacrifices they are making to ensure that agriculture improves in the area.
The group numbering about Eight Six members including two men engage in other activities like organizing communal labor and taking care of poor and needy children in their community.
They took the opportunity to request for support from benevolent individuals and organizations to come in and support their activities and operations so that they can venture into other areas in the Agriculture Value Chain.
